Crispy Pita Triangles

I usually turn leftover pitas that have lost some of their freshness into these crispy triangles. They’re super-easy to make and great for dipping into salsas and dips.

Using a pastry brush, lightly brush both sides of a 7-inch diameter pita with olive oil. Cut into 8 triangles and toss with your favorite blend of spices. Try ¼ tsp each onion salt, ground cumin, and chili powder. Arrange triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake in a 450ºF oven until crisp and golden, about 3 minutes per side.
